Ans. Jo decided to go out to do some exercise on that cold day. She had planned to clear the snow and sweep the path around the garden.

Ans. She suggested that either Laurie should read or should ask Someone to read to him. She also suggested that she could read to him so as to amuse him.

3. What items did Jo bring for Laurie, and from whom?

Ans. Jo came with her bag and baggage to give company to Laurie. Meg had sent some of her blancmange, a fruit flavoured Dessert and Bet had sent her kittens. She also brought her Mother's best wished for him.
