a) The main source of information for prehistory is archaeology (a branch of anthropology), but some scholars are beginning to make more use of evidence from the natural and social sciences.

b) The early humans were adapted to a nomadic lifestyle. They had to move from place to place due to harsh weather conditions and natural calamities. They had to migrate often because of the adaptation to the habitat and in the quest for food in order to live.
