The life of a Vagabond appeals to the speaker because a vagabond has no specific home and he can wander about as he likes. He has no restrictions, unlike the normal people, and can live his life to his utmost joy.

This the answer. Hope it helps you and sorry if I am wrong.

The life of a vagabond appeals to the speaker as he loves traveling and it excites him to be out on the road. He wants to travel and prefers it to any friends, wealth or comforts. The harsh winter and summer don't deter him from traveling as he finds the most wonderful experience in life is to have a road below and sky above. He is not frightened of the death and feels it will arrive sooner or later. Nevertheless, it can't stop him from traveling.
