Answer:

(1) Fundamental rights are a group of rights that have been recognized by the Supreme Court as requiring a high degree of protection from government encroachment. These rights are specifically identified in the Constitution (especially in the Bill of Rights), or have been found under Due Process.

Seven fundamental rights were originally provided by the Constitution – the right to equality, right to freedom, right against exploitation, right to freedom of religion, cultural and educational rights, right to property and right to constitutional remedies.

(2) Two fundamental duties are :

  • To abide by the Constitution and respect its ideals and institutions, the National Flag and the National Anthem;
  • To abide by the Constitution and respect its ideals and institutions, the National Flag and the National Anthem;To cherish and follow the noble ideals which inspired our national struggle for freedom.

(3) Directive Principles of State Policy aim to create social and economic conditions under which the citizens can lead a good life. They also aim to establish social and economic democracy through a welfare state.
