answer these questions in simple language
1 what happen when iron granules react with dilute hydrochloric acid
2 why does the colour of the solution change when iron nails are kept in an aqueous solution of copper sulphate
3 on passing carbon dioxide into lime water, it turns milky. why?
4 write down properties of chemical reaction
Answers
3.no question answer------When carbon dioxide is passed through lime water it turns milky due to the formation of water insoluble precipitate CaCO3. Still if excess of CO2 is passed it forms water solubleCalcium bicarbonate . Thus the solution remains clear.

2.no question answer------When Iron nail (Ferrum) is dipped inCopper sulphate (CuSO4) there takes reaction between them andcoppersulphate change its color from blue to light green. This shows Iron ismore reactive than Copper, it canreplace Copper from CuSO4. CuSO4 isin blue Color and FeSO4 is in lightgreen color.

Lime water is calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2. When carbon dioxide is passed into it, it turns milky because of the formation of calcium carbonate (CaCO3). The reaction involved is as follows,
Ca(OH)2 + CO2 → CaCO3 + H2O
Hope this answers your question,
Cheers!!
When you pass carbon dioxide through this solution, the two compounds carbon dioxide (CO2) and calcium hydroxide (CaOH2) will react to form white and insoluble calcium carbonate which precipitates out of the solution. The reaction is as follows:
Ca(OH)2(aq) + CO2(g) →CaCO3(s)↓+H2O
4.no question answer-----The changing of colour of a substance is not necessarily an indicator of a chemical change. For example, changing the colour of a metal does not change its physical properties. However, in a chemical reaction, a colour change is usually an indicator that a reaction is occurring.3.no question answer------When carbon dioxide is passed through lime water it turns milky due to the formation of water insoluble precipitate CaCO3.
