1abcde X
3 =
--------------
abcde1

using this table mode makes the problem easier to look at.

you can see 3 X e = something ending in 1, only one digit does that and that is 7

So now we have

1abcd7 X
3 =
--------------
abcd71

So now we have the 3x7 = 21 the 2 carries, so 3Xd +2 = something that ends in 7, therefore 3Xd equals something ending in 5, therefore d = 5 so now we have.

1abc57 X
3 =
--------------
abc571

3X5 = 15 so carry the 1 and 3Xc+1 is something that ends in 5 therfore 3Xc ends in 4, therefore c is 8, so now we have

1ab857 X
3 =
--------------
ab8571

3x8 = 24 so carry the 2, so 3Xb+2 is something that ends in 8 therefore 3Xb ends in 6 so b is 2, so now we have

1a2857 X
3 =
--------------
a28571

3x2 = 6, no carry, so 3Xa ends in 2 thus a is 4 so we now have
142857 X
3 =
--------------
428571

So abcde is 42857

E. Go through the attachment.

G. Have a look at International Numeration system.

Ones = 1

Ten = 10

Hundred = 100

Thousand = 1,000

Ten Thousand = 10,000

Hundred Thousand = 100,000

Million = 1,000,000

Ten Million = 10,000,000

Hundred Million = 100,000,000

Billion = 1,000,000,000

Ten Billion = 10,000,000,000

Hundred Billion = 100,000,000,000.

Now divide a Billion by a Million = 1,000,000,000 ÷ 1,000,000

                                                   = 1,000.

 ∴ There is 1,000 million in 1 Billion.

H. Soni got 5 gold medal and 2 silver medal last year . How many medals did Soni get last year ?
