5.(i) let the angle be x

ATQ. x+x=90°

2x=90°

x=45°

angle equal to its complement is 45°

(ii) let the angle be y

ATQ. y+y=180°

2y=180°

y=90°

the angle equal to it's supplement is 90°

6. x+4+2x-7=90°

3x-3=90°

3x=93°

x=31°

the required value of x is 31°

7. let the angles be 2x and 7x

2x+7x=180°

9x=180°

x=20°

the required value of x is 20°

2x=40°

7x=140°
