Given,

First we will convert these numbers into like terms

LCM of 5 and 6 = 30

Therefore,

 \frac{2}{5}  =  \frac{2 \times 6}{5 \times 6}  =  \frac{18}{30}

 \frac{1}{6}  =  \frac{1 \times 5}{6 \times 5}  =  \frac{5}{30}

Now, we can easily find two rational numbers between them.

Therefore required rational numbers are,

 \frac{7}{30}  \: and \: \frac{17}{30}

4. Subtract 3/8 from - 3.

 - 3 -  \frac{ 3}{8}   \\  =  >  \frac{ - 3 \times 8 - 3}{8}   \\ = >   \frac{ - 24 - 3}{8}   \\  =  >   \frac{ - 27}{8}
