Given p(x) = x^4 - 3x^2 + 2x + 5.

Given g(x) = x - 1.

By remainder theorem, we get

= > x - 1 = 0

= > x = 1.

Plug x = 1 in p(x), we get

= > (1)^4 - 3(1)^2 + 2(1) + 5

= > 1 - 3 + 2 + 5

= > -2 + 2 + 5

= > 5.

Therefore, the remainder is 5.

Hope it helps!
