S=400 m
t=20 s
m=7 tonnes=7000 kg
u=0
At third equation of motion
S=ut+1/2 at square
400=0*20+1/2*a*20*20
400=200a
400/200=a
a=2
Acceleration is 2 m/s square
Force=ma
=7000*2
=14000 N

Hope it helps you dude

Answer:

Acceleration => 2m/s^2

Force => 14000N

Explanation:

Given :

Initial velocity,u = 0m/s

Final velocity,v = 400m/s

Time taken,t = 20s

To Find :

Acceleration,a = ?

Force acting on it if it’s mass is 7 tonne

Solution :

According to second law of equation

\sf{}\bf{s=ut+\dfrac{1}{2}at^2}

So,

\sf{}400=0\times 20+\dfrac{1}{2}\times a\times 20^2

\sf{}400=0+\dfrac{1}{2}\times 400a

\sf{}400=\dfrac{1}{1}\times 200a

\sf{}400=200a

\sf{}\dfarc{400}{200}=a

\sf{}a=2m/s^2

Therefore,acceleration is equal to 2m/s^2.

We know,

\sf{}\bf{F=ma}

[1 tonne = 1000kg so, 7 tonne = 7 × 1000 = 7000kg]

So,

Force = 7000kg × 2m/s

⇒ 14000N

Therefore,force acting on the object is equal to 14000N.
