A square and a rhombus are on the same base and between same parallels.

Square and rhombus are paralellograms.

We know that Parallellograms on the same base and between same parallels are equal in area

Therefore area of rhombus = area of square.

Therefore ratio of their areas will be 1:1.

Hey mate, here is your answer-:)

_____________________________

Since the square and rhombus are on the same base and between the same paralleys, their areas are equal.

 \: area(rhombus) = area(square) \\  \frac{area(rhombus)}{area(square)}  =  \frac{1}{1}

Hence, ratio of their areas = 1:1
