Test solution ---------------------- Initial colour

1. Shampoo (dilute solution) --- White

If pH is lower than 7 means substance is acidic in nature and if pH is higher than 7, substance is basic in nature.

  • Lemon juice is an example of acid whereas banking soda is an example of base.
