Answer:

A mysterious chest

Explanation:

One fine morning, I went down to the beach to play with my Golden Retriever, Milly. The beach was crystal blue and the sand glistened under the warm sun. But this day had more than what was expected. When it was my turn to go fishing with my father, I excitedly packed a fishing net and a cap and set sail with my father. We reached a distant area and my father swung the rope. The area was pretty deep. But out of the corner of my eye, I spotted something peculiar. There a something. It stood out among the blue that surrounded it. I called out to my father. He peered into the water trying to make out what it was. Suddenly he jumped into the water. Thinking that he was pulled down by a monster, I jumped after him. The scene I saw was mesmerizing. Fish swam around me, trying to inspect the stranger who had invaded their castle. Corals looked like majestic crowns that had been worn by the rulers of the sea. Out of the blue, I was swept forward and soon reached my father. He motioned to me to come and dig with him. We dug and soon it revealed it self. A treasure chest. I took a glance at it and pinched myself, to make sure I wasn't dreaming. The chest looked plain and dull, unlike the ones I dreamt of. We hauled the chest to the boat and went back to the coast. We picked the lock and opened it, with expectations. However, the chest was empty. It only had a note that read 'Too late'. We tossed it into the ocean with disappointment and returned to our home. I guess the proverb 'Don't judge a book by its cover' was right after all.
