,if a,b and c are the length of sides of triangle ABC,then prove that area of triangle is equal to 1/2ab sinc

AB = c

BC = a

AC = b

∠C  is angle between BC & AC

Now lets draw AD perpendicular from Vertex A at BC

Now area of Triangle = (1/2) * BC * AD

= (1/2) a * AD

in Δ ACD

Sin∠C = Perpendicular / Hypotenuse

=> Sin C  = AD/AC

=> SinC = AD/b

=> AD = bSinC

putting this in area

area of Triangle = (1/2) a * bSInC

= (1/2) abSinC
