Answer:

According to Henry’s law

.m = k x p

Substituting the given values in the above equation.

=) We get

6.56 x10-3 = k x 1

Or

k = 6.56 x10-3

Now when m = 5 x 10-2,

Then again substituting the given values in Henry’s law equation,we get

5 x 10-2 = 6.56 x10-3 x p

Or

p = 7.62 bar

{Hope my Answer is correct} :D

Answer:

0.762 bar..

Applying the Henry's law in=KH×P in the first case

6.56×10-2g =KH×1bar or KH=6.56×10-2 g bar-1

put KH value in the second case 5.0×10-2 g= (6.56 ×

10-2 g bar-1 × P

.•.P=5.0×10-2 g/6.56×10-2 g bar-1

=0.762bar Answer...
