Autotrophs :

Organisms which produce their own food through inorganic sources of energy i.e. Sunlight, water, air, and chlorophyll are called Autotrophs.

Eg. Green plants and some bacteria.

Heterotrophs:

Organisms which obtain their food by consuming other organisms i.e organic sources of energy. They obtain energy either directly or indirectly bu producers or Autotrophs.

Eg. Animals and some kinds of plants(insectivorous, saprotrophs, etc), etc.
