Solution:-

ABCD is a cyclic quadrilateral.

O is the centre of the circle.

i)

Given that

∠ ADC = 80°

We know that

Opposite angles are Supplementary in a cyclic quadrilateral.

So, ∠ ADC + ∠ ABC = 180°

=> 80° + ∠ ABC = 180°

=> ∠ ABC = 180°-80°

Therefore, ABC = 100°

On joining AOC then we get a straight line .

Therefore, ∠ AOC = 180°

ii) Given that

∠ BCD = 70°

We know that

Opposite angles are Supplementary in a cyclic quadrilateral.

So, ∠ BCD + ∠ BAD = 180°

=> 70° + ∠ BAD = 180°

=> ∠ BAD = 180°-70°

Therefore, ∠ BAD = 110°

and

On joining BOD we have a straight line

Therefore, BOD is a straight line.

∠BOD = 180°

Answer :-

i) ABC = 100° , AOC = 180°

ii) BAD = 110° , BOD = 180°

Used formulae:-

Opposite angles are Supplementary in a cyclic quadrilateral.

ABCD is a cyclic quadrilateral..

O is the centre of the circle.

i)

Given that

Z ADC = 80°

We know that

Opposite angles are Supplementary in a cyclic quadrilateral.

So, 2 ADC + ABC = 180°

=> 80° + < ABC = 180°

L

=> ABC = 180°-80*

Therefore, ABC = 100° On joining AOC then we get a straight

line.

Therefore, AOC = 180° ii) Given that

z BCD = 70°

We know that

Opposite angles are Supplementary in a cyclic quadrilateral.

So, z BCD + BAD = 180°

=> 70° + BAD = 180°

=> BAD = 180°-70°

Therefore, Z BAD = 110°

and

On joining BOD we have a straight line

Therefore, BOD is a straight line.

ZBOD = 180°

Answer:

i) z ABC = 100, < AOC = 180°

ii) Z BAD = 110, < BOD = 180°

Used formulae:

. Opposite angles are Supplementary in a cyclic quadrilateral.
