In triangle BCD to find b we first find x° = 180-(37 +71 )

= 180-108

=72°

Now to find be we use 180° - 72° =b° ( because straight angle measure 180° )

= 108°

Now in triangle ABC 2 angle is = 180-108/2

72/2

=36°

Step-by-step explanation:

In triangle BDC

angle BDC=180⁰-(37⁰+71⁰) {Angle sum property}

angle BDC=180⁰-108⁰

angle BDC=72⁰

b⁰=180⁰- angle BDC {linear pair}

b⁰=180⁰-72⁰

b⁰=108⁰

a⁰=71⁰ {AB||CD & BC Is transversal}
