DB = 2 cm
DE = 6 cm
BC = ?
AB = AD + DB = 3 + 2 = 5 cm
In the given triangle as BC || DE, Hence
ΔADE and ΔABC are similar.
According to law of similarity of two triangles ratio of their mutual sides with be same i.e.,
AB/AD = BC/DE
5/3 = BC/6
5/3 × 6 = BC
BC = 10 cm
