i) directly (for a constant speed=distance/time=constant

distance=k×time)

ii) inversely (for a fixed distance covered speed×time=distance=k , therefore speed =k/time)

iii)36×5/18=10 m/s

(1 km/h= 1000m/(60×60 s)=5/18 m/s)

iv) 2/5=x/15 so x=2/5×15= 6

v) 1:2:3
