Answer:

You have forgotten to see the area of a Trapezium because we can't get , so we want area or any parallel side

so I have put 360 because Trapezium total is 360 .

GIVEN

Height = 16

Parallel side a = 15

parallel side b = ?

Area of a Trapezium = ?

SOLUTION

Area of a Trapezium = ½ ( a+b ) × h

360 = ½ ( 15+b ) × 16

360 = ½ × 16 ( 15+b )

360 / 8 = 15 + b

45 = 15 + b

b = 45 - 15

b = 30.

Therefore,

b = 45 - 15

b = 30 Cm
