To find cost of per gram we will take

hence to find cost for 500gram

cost \: for \: 500gram = 500 \times  \frac{25}{1500}

as 1500 is divisible by 500 then

 =  \frac{25}{3}

by solving we get

8.33

hence cost of 500g is 8.33rs.
