Answer:

Heya........here’s ur answer

Explanation:

9.Given:

Potential difference-9V

R1=0.2ohms

R2=0.3ohms

R3=0.4ohms

R4=0.5ohms

R5=12ohms

Solution:

We know that in a series arrangement, the current flowing will be the same throughout the circuit.

So,

R(series)= r1+r2+r3+r4+r5

= 0.2+0.3+0.4+0.5+12

=13.4ohms

According to ohms law,

V=IR

I= V/R

= 9/13.4

= 0.67A

10. R= V/I

=220/5

=44 ohms

R(parallel)= 1/r1+1/r2+...........+’n ’ times

44= 1/ 176+ 1/176+.....+’n’ times

44= n/176

n= 176/44

n=4 resistors

Therefore, the no.of resistors of 176ohms to be connected in parallel to carry 5A on a 220 V line is 4 resistors.

Hope it helps u!!!!
