 \frac{ \sqrt{3} - 1}{ \sqrt{3} +1} +  \frac{ \sqrt{3} +1}{ \sqrt{3 }- 1 }

LCM  = (√3 -1)(√3+1)

[tex] \frac{( \sqrt{3} -1) ^{2} +(\sqrt{3} +1) ^{2} }{(\sqrt{3} -1)(\sqrt{3} +1)} \\ \\ [/tex]

 \frac{3 - 2 \sqrt{3}  + 1 + 3 + 2 \sqrt{3} +1}{3 - 1}

(NOTE :- (√3 -1)(√3+1) = a² - b² = (√3)² - 1² = 2 )

Here , 2√3 gets cancelled ,

 \frac{8}{2}

= 4

Hence,

OPTION (C) IS CORRECT
