Thanks for the question!

Therefore, Only 3 animal i.e. the rabbit and the 2 monkey were going towards the lake.

Rabbit only saw elephants.

Parrots are not animals and elephants aren't going towards river.

1 rabbit+2monkeys=total 3 animals are going towards river.

It is a very simple riddle that can be easily solved.

Hope it helps!!

Solution :-

1) 1 rabbit saw 6 elephants while going towards river. It means only rabbit was going towards river. = 1 Rabbit = 1 Animal

2) Every elephant saw that 2 monkeys were going towards river. It means 2 monkeys were going towards river, not the elephants. = 2 Monkeys = 2 Animals

3) Every monkey holds 1 parrot in its hand. So, it means that 2 monkeys has 1 parrot each in their hands. = 2 Parrots = 2 Animals

Total number of animals going towards river = 1 Rabbit + 2 Monkeys + 2 Parrots

= 5 Animals.

So, the correct answer is 5 animals.
