Proof:-

Number 1.

In triangles AOB and DOC,

  1. AB = CD (Given)
  2. Angle OAB = Angle ODC (Alternate angles)
  3. Angle OBA = Angle OCD (Alternate angles)

Therefore,

Triangle AOB is congruent to Triangle DOC(A.S.A)

Question 2.

So,

AO=OD (cpct)

BO=OC (cpct)

Hence AD and BC bisect each other. (Proved).
