a bullet is fired at clear sky and we know that after sometimes the bullet stops in mid air because of friction but where does the bullet go after getting stopped in mid air (we know that it does not cross the ozone layer)

It comes down due to gravity as gravity pulls everything down towards the centre of the earth

this is because the gravitional force acts on the earths crust as well as the bullet which does not allow it to cross the o.layer and pulls it to the ground back
