a) let the length=y

breadth=x

length of the garden=3 more it's breadth

so, length=x+3

b) length of the rectangular garden=x+3

breadth of the rectangular garden=x

perimeter of the rectangular garden=2(l+b)

=2[(x+3)+x]

=2(2x+3)

=4x+6

c) let the number of plants in each row=y

side of the square=2 more than the number of plants in each row

so,side of the square=y+2
