The moisture in your clothes has to evaporate into the air. The lower the humidity, the faster clothes will dry. In less humid day the amount of water vapour present is less than that are present in human days.So cloths dry faster

Answer:

Now on a humid day , the air already has sufficient amount of water vapor present . As the result the rate of evaporation decreases and hence it takes long to dry wet clothes in humid weather.

Wet clothes dry faster – in dry weather. On a humid day, there is moisture in the air. On a dry day, the moisture in the clothes more easily evaporates.

Wet clothes take longer time to dry on a humid day because the air has a lot of water vapour and so it can't accomodate the water vapour created by the wet clothes. So, the water remains, in the clothes for a longer time.
