Washing Soda = Na₂CO₃ . 10H₂O

= Due to efflorescence, it is reduced to Na₂CO₃ . H₂O

Total Molar Mass = (23*2)+12+(16*3)+(10*18) g

= 286 g

Molar Mass (altered) = (23*2)+12*(16*3)+(1*18) g

= 124 g

Loss in Molar Mass = (286-124) g

= 162 g

= Total Percentage Loss = 162/286*100%

= 56.64 %
