Answer:

The Evolutionary stage of Humans

The early humans were known as ape men. The had hairs all over their body, couldn't hold things and also couldn't stand straight. So, they were called ape men. It was the time when the ape men used stone to do everything. This period was known as stone age. There were three stone ages - Palaeolithic or the Old stone age, Mesolithic or the Middle stone age and the Neolithic or the New stone age. The Palaeolithic man led a life of nomad and were called hunter gatherer. They moved from one place to other in search of food or livelihood. They used stone tools but that were not much stronger and sharper. Fire was invented in this stone age. Then comes the Mesolithic or the Middle stone age. The Mesolithic men led a well settled life and used stone tools which were much sharper and stronger called Microliths. The beginning of farming or cultivation and domestication of animal was started by the ending of Mesolithic Age. The next and final stone age is the Neolithic or the New stone age. The man led to live in community near river banks because cultivation needs water. All early civilisations began by the end of this period. The invention of wheel and pottery were the biggest invention of Neolithic. And also the stone tools were very sharp and strong because they were made of basalt.
