I've tried my best not to make any errors while i tried to solve this for you, but even though, i'm not sure to make it to the answer as i feel the options are inappropriate and i need assurance from ur side that those are correct, acc. to my calculations, i receive the following roots as my answer: 
y = 5+ √(185) / 6 and y = 5 -√(185) /6 . THANKS
