Answer:

A circular flower bed is surrounding by a path 5m wide

the diameter of flower bed is 65m

so, radius of circular flower bed = diameter/2 = 65/2 = 32.5m

area of circular bed = π × (32.5)² = 1056.25π m²

radius of circular bed + path = 32.5 + 5 = 37.5 m

Area of circular bed + path = π × (37.5)² = 1406.25π m²

Area of path = Area of (circular bed + path) + area of circular bed = 1406.25π - 1056.25π = 350 m²

Answer:

the diameter is 66 cm so the radius is 33 cm.

area of the flower bed 3.14 * 33*33=3419.46 cm sq.

Since the path is uniform all around the flower bed the radius of the whole circle including the path and the flower bed is 33+4=37 cm.

the area of the whole circle = 3.14 * 37 * 37 = 4298.66 cm sq.

Noe the area of the path is = area of the entire circle - area of the t flower bed = 4298.66- 3419.46=879.2 cm sq.
