Let the Smaller number of the Two numbers be : S

Let the Larger number of the Two numbers be : L

Given : If 7 is added to the smaller number then sum becomes double to the larger number.

⇒ (Smaller Number + 7) = (2 × Larger Number)

⇒ S + 7 = 2L

⇒ 2L - S = 7

Multiplying the above equation with 3, we get :

⇒ 6L - 3S = 21 -------------- [1]

Given : If 4 is added to the larger number it becomes three times of the smaller one.

⇒ (4 + Larger Number) = (3 × Smaller Number)

⇒ 4 + L = 3S

⇒ 3S - L = 4 -------------- [2]

Adding both Equations [1] and [2], We get :

⇒ (6L - 3S) + (3S - L) = 21 + 4

⇒ 6L - L + 3S - 3S = 25

⇒ 5L = 25

⇒ L = 5

Substituting L = 5 in Equation [2], We get :

⇒ 3S - 5 = 4

⇒ 3S = 5 + 4

⇒ 3S = 9

⇒ S = 3

So, The Larger Number is 5 and The Smaller Number is 3
