- the answer will be 85 degrees. When it's 11 in the clock, the angle between the two hands of the clock will be 30°.
- Minute hand — 0 deg. Hour hand — 210 deg. In this duration, hour hand had moved some angle ahead, say x degs. Therefore the required angle is 90 + 10 = 100 degs.
- The minute hand moves 360 degrees every 1 hour, i.e., 6 degrees/min. So at 0:35 after an hour, it will have moved 6*35 = 210 degrees clockwise from vertical. The angle between the two hands is then 257.5 -210 = 47.5 degrees, unless I made a mistake in hasty arithmetic.
- 97.5 degree
- The angle made by the minute hand in 60 minutes = 360 degrees. So the angle made by the minute hand in 20 Minutes = 120 degrees. Hence angle between the hour hand and minute hand at 2:20 = 120 - 70 = 50 degrees.
- The measure of the angle between hour hand and minute hand at ten past ten is equal to 120 degrees minus the angle of the hour hand between ten o'clock and ten past ten which is equal to the angle the hour hand makes in 10 minutes.
