There are different valves that situated in the chambers of the heart. There are four valves which are known as:

Tricuspid valve: This valve opens to allow the blood to flow from the right atrium to the right ventricle. This valve is present in the junction of the right atrium and right ventricle.

Pulmonary valve: The pulmonary valve opens to allow the blood from the right ventricle to the lungs. This valve is present in the right ventricle and the pulmonary artery.

Bicuspid valve: This is also known as the mitral valve. This valve is present in the left atrium. This valve opens to allow the blood to flow from the left atrium to the left ventricle.

Aortic valve: This valve is present at the junction of the left ventricle and aorta. This valve allows the blood from the left ventricle to flow into the aorta to supply the body parts.
