The current in the circuit is 2A.

By using Kirchhoff law in the circuit,
-3i + 12 - 4i - 2i + 6 =0
- 9i = - 12 - 6
- 9i = - 18
I = 2 A.
Therefore the total current in the circuit is 2A.

seetaAbhishek: can I also know the resultant potential difference
Anonymous: By using the formula V=IR u can find the resultant potential difference.
seetaAbhishek: what is the resultant resistance in the circuit
seetaAbhishek: is it a parallel or series
Anonymous: R1 and R2 are in series
Anonymous: And R3 is parallel to both r1 and r2. If this assumption is correct then the resultant resistance is 2ohm
