Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The two figures have same height.The diference between them is one is cylinder and another is cube.

lateral surface area of cylinder =

2 x π x r x h=

2*22/7*3.5*7=154cm²

lateral surface area of cube = 4*side²

4*7²=4*49=196

Cube has a larger lateral surface area.

Area of cylinder :-

2\pi rh

 = 2 \times 22 \div 7 \times 7 \div 2 \times 7

 = 154 \: cm^{2}

Area of cube:-

4l^{2}

 = 4 \times 7  \times 7

 = 196 \: cm ^{2}

Similarity:-

Both have same height.

Difference :-

One is cylinder ,other is cube.

So,

The cube has large lateral surface area which is

196 \: cm ^{2}

Hope it helps U✌️✌️✌️✌️..
