because AC = FD?
In triangles ABD and FEC. we have, AB=CF (given), angles B = angle E ( each =90°), and BC=DE (given). therefore, triangles ABD and FEC are congurent by sas- criteria. hence, AD=FC by c.p.c.t

✔To prove :- AD = FC
✔Proof :-
in triangle ABD and triangle FED
AB = EF .............................(given)
angle B = angle E ..........(given)
BC + CD = ED + DC
=> BD = EC ......................( by adding CD on both sides)
so, triangle ABD congruent triangle FED .................................. (S.A.S)
hence, AD = FC .............( c.p.c.t )
