hey!!
_____

▪A flash drive is not a flash disk. There is no disk spindle motor or moving read or write heads. There are no moving parts.

▪Data storage is done using non-volatile semiconductor flash memory chips, not a slow magnetic or optical rotating platter.

▪>>Because there are no mechanical moving parts to wear out or crash a flash drive is more rugged and resistant to bumps and drops making them more useful for portable use in a notebook PC.

▪Since there is no motor a flash drive uses less power than a hard disk drive.

▪A flash drive is faster than an HDD since there is no mechanical seek time needed to position the platter and read write heads.

▪Storage cost per Gigabyte is higher with a solid state drive or USB flash drive than a magnetic HDD but costs continue to decline and storage capacities are increasing for flash storage.

▪Many users do not need massive multi terabyte storage of an HDD and now use SSD and USB flash drive rather than HDD.

▪Flash drives do not need to be
defragmented like an HDD and are easier to erase before disposal since there is no residual magnetic data storage.

hope help u !
