Solution

4x + 3 = 6 + 2x \\

 = > 4x - 2x = 6 - 3 \\

(Here we had separated x value one side and numbers at different side.)

 = > 2x = 3 \\

 = > x = \frac{3}{2} \\

To know that the answer is right or not we can verify it.

Verification

4( \frac{3}{2} ) + 3 = 6 + 2( \frac{3}{2} ) \\

 = > 4 \times \frac{3}{2} + 3 = 6 + 2 \times \frac{3}{2} \\

 = > 2 \times 3 + 3 = 6 + 3 \\

 = > 6 + 3 = 9 \\

 = > 9 = 9 \\

HENCE, verified LHS = RHS

Therefore the answer is

 \frac{3}{2} \\
