A hint is given in s chand book of class 9 .U can try that.

So Path length is distance AC and them Distance BC(CB)

so total path length=(14-6)(AC)+(14-10)(BC(

=8+4=12km

As it is give. in question A To B through C which means First he covers distance AC then goes from BC

and displacement=[Final length- Initial length]

so Displacement=(10-4)=6km
