Let speed of first car = (x)km/h

Given:

Speed of second car is 8km/h less than the speed of first car.

So speed of Second car = (x - 8)km/h

Given:

After 3hrs, the distance between both cars is 54km

From this statement we should understand that both the cars together traveled 210 - 54 = 156km in a time of 3hrs.

So now here we got :-

Total speed of both cars = x + (x - 8)

Total Speed = 2x - 8

Time = 3hrs

Distance traveled by both cars together

= 156km

Now we can apply the formula,

$s = \frac{d}{t}$

$2x - 8 = \frac{156}{3} \\ \\ 3(2x - 8) = 156 \\ \\ 6x - 24 = 156 \\ \\ 6x = 156 + 24 \\ \\ 6x = 180 \\ \\ x = \frac{180}{6} \\ \\ x = 30$

Now we get,

Speed of first car = x

= 30km/h

Speed of second car = (x - 8)

= 30 - 8

= 22km/h

So the speeds of both the cars are30km/h and 22km/h respectively.
