by middle term splitting
x²-4x+2x-8
x(x-4)+2(x-4)
x-4 and x+2
×=4 and x = -2
so ii is correct
2) i Intersects x-axis

4) one zero is 6 and sum of zero is 0 mean alpha + beta = 0
6+ beta =0
beta = -6
and we know x2 -x(alpha + beta ) +(alpha× beta) so answer is x²-36
