Given:-

l = 80 \: cm

b = 48 \: cm

h = 24 \: cm

Width of tarpulin cloth:-

width = 96 \: cm

Formula

\huge\bigstar\underline\mathfrak{Answer:-}

Surface of area:-

 = 2(lb + bh  + hl)

 = 2(80 \times 48 + 48 \times 24 + 24 \times 80)

 = 2(3840 + 1152 + 1920)

 = 2(6212)

 = 13824 \: cm^{2}

So, \: to \:  find  \: 100  \: cm ^{2}  = 13824 \times 100

 = 1382400 \: cm ^{2}

Converting cm into m:-

 = 1 \div 100 \: m

 = 1382400 \div 100

 = 13824m

So, Area of Tarpaulin cloth:-

 =  l \times b

 or \\ 13824  = l \times 96

13824 \div 96 = l

so \\ l = 144 ^{2}

so \\ 144m ^{2} is \: required \: to \: cover \: 100 \: sutcase

Hope it helps U✌️✌️✌️...

Answer:144 m

Step-by-step explanation:

The suitcase

l = 80 cm

b = 48 cm

h = 24 cm

therefore,

Total Surface Area = 2(lb + bh + lh)

= 2 [(80*48) + (48*24) + (80 * 24)]

= 2 (3840 + 1152 + 1920)

= 2 * 6912

= 13824 cm^2

Length of cloth required = (area of suitcase/ breadth) * 100

= (13824/ 96) * 100

= 144 * 100

= 14400 cm

= 14400 /100 m

= 144 m
