Area of shaded region is area of P - area of Q
Area of P=πr₁²=π×1×1=π
Area of Q=πr₂²=(π×1/2×1/2)=π/4

∴ Area of shaded region is π-π/4=3π/4

∴ Correct answer is 3π/4

do half of diameter to make radius
area of circle p=22/7×1×1=22/7
area of circle q=22/7×1/2×1/2=11/14
area of shaded region=area of p-area of q
=22/7-11/14 take lcm
so,22/7=44/14or 11/14 remain same
44/14-11/14=33/14
correct answer is option (a)
Because 3/4×22/7=33/14
