x = a.secФ
y = b.tanФ
secФ = x/a
sec²Ф = (x/a)² ------------------(i)
tanФ = y/b
tan²Ф = (y/b)² ------------(ii)
we know that,
sec²Ф - tan²Ф = 1
(x/a)² +(y/b)² = 1
(bx)² + (ay)² = a²b²
x = a.secФ
y = b.tanФ
secФ = x/a
sec²Ф = (x/a)² ------------------(i)
tanФ = y/b
tan²Ф = (y/b)² ------------(ii)
we know that,
sec²Ф - tan²Ф = 1
