1. I went to watch a cricket match between our school team and the neighbourhood boys. I walked to the school bright and early for the match. Then, I located the ground selected for the match and reached there.
2. Everywhere I looked, the players were excitedly getting ready for the match. I could see the boys gearing up to do their best. The field was decorated with gaily coloured banners that were a treat to the eyes. As I watched, more spectators arrived. I could see that some of the would-be audience were even dressed like the team they supported. As time passed, the excitement mounted, until, finally, we noticed the arrival of the coach and the umpire. The match began. We witnessed the boys playing brilliantly. The grassy knoll became a battlefield even as we watched. It was a treat to the eyes to see the boys' faces when our school won the match. Finally, we observed the victorious team members parade in the ground.
3. For the most part, I was a silent spectator in the match. I cheered for my friends to win as loudly as I could. As someone who aspires to join the cricket team next term, I observed the moves the boys used. I recorded parts of the match. In the end, I photographed the winning team.
Hope this helps! :)
