taking base as AB=10cm, we  have the height = 6cm

therefore the area will be = 60 sq.cm

also area of a parallelogram remains constant whatever may by the way of obtaining the area as it will always occupy the same space in the plane,

therefore for area, we can have the base as BC=8cm and have the height GH

8 x GH = 60

GH = 60/8 = 7.5cm
