basic umbrella was invented four thousand years ago. The earliest umbrellas, aslso called

'Parasol', were made to shade the user from the sun and were in use in ancient assyria, China, Egypt and Greece.

In eighteenth century, umbrella ribs were made of baleen, whale bone, which tended to lose
